Mike, just dropping you a note to tell you how pleased we are with the Outback. Almost 5000 miles on it in a little over two months. What a quality piece of machinery.  My wife is averaging just a tad over 30 M.P.G. all around driving.  Unbelievable, for the way she drives. About 4 mpg better than the equinox we traded.  Ride, comfort, quietness, and quality--there is just no comparison between the Outback and the Equinox.  I am interested in the new 2012 Impreza hatchback for a 2nd vehicle.
