My 23 Outback was recently in for routine maintenance and two warranty issues.
Routine maintenance was fine.
Warranty issue one was passenger seat cooling fan malfunction- after running continuously for 30–60 -90 minutes on long drives the fan would go from whisper quiet to a grinding sound like a piece of wood being cut by a power saw. I was informed the fan was replaced but the replacement buzzes annoyingly. All one would have to do to understand this is to compare the driver seat fan, whisper quiet, to the passenger seat fan which is loud. Either the parts used are defective ... Read More

Went for an oil change with no appointment and they got me right in. Very polite and came to let me know it was done even though they could have texted me. Highly recommend for service of any kind.
I always receive good service with my Subaru Forester at The St.Cloud location. Appointments are easy to get and the repair job or maintenance is always done right and with a great attitude. I also enjoy their free shuttle service so I don't have to sit around waiting.
My sales person and finance person were professional, friendly and helpful throughout the entire process. I never felt pressured to purchase any extras. All of my questions were answered from test drive to final drive.
They have online sales figured out well. First Subaru purchase and was treated very well.

Great dealership! Went for a 12k service, was 2 hrs early and they got me in right away. I was in and out before my scheduled appt. My salesman Kris saw me pull in and came to find me to say hi. Staff was very accommodating. The accessories staff was very helpful in answering a lot my questions.
This was our 4th new Subaru at St Cloud Subaru. I love my new Subarus and have been very happy with the sales staff and others at this dealership. We will be back for another in a few years!

Hit a deer the night before we were to trade in our 2020 Forester for a 2025. The dealership and insurance company worked together to make the deal happen with only a one day delay. The dealership took the responsibility of having our old car repaired. Very happy with the service we got from Cole and his associates.

Needed an oil change while on a road trip. Outstanding scheduling, service advisor was very helpful. I was in and out in 45 minutes and back on the road. The waiting area was comfortable and supplied snacks and beverages. A great dealership experience.
I would give your service team 10 stars if the option was available! I bought my 2022 Subaru Outback from St. Cloud, but I live in Duluth. On Friday I had an appointment in St. Cloud. Right before I got to the Target on 23, my "eye sight" and "check engine" warning came on...(so much for my favorite stop at Gopher!!!)...Not knowing what any of these warnings meant or if I should continue driving it, I was a bit panicked!! It was easy to check in and get the service started and it was quick and they reset a light.
Online scheduling is great -- service was done quickly and everyone is extremely friendly. It was also helpful that the technician explained what would happen at the next service appointment and what to expect in terms of time and cost.
Salesperson was good but a little green, manager (Justin) was pushy, unclear/vague in responses, and quite frankly the single reason for our lower rating. His chewing gum while talking to us was gross. He is not at all a good representation of Subaru's calm vibe. Randy the finance guy is good.

Went in for my 24,000 Mile oil change and check-up, check-in and check-out was pleasant the people were decent. Got home and looked at the video they took while servicing my vehicle and found out that they did not replace my cabin filter but they charged me for one. I called the service manager and was told that the mechanic replaced my cabin filter and states he has the old one still which I find that hard to believe. He tried to mitigate the situation and offer a replacement engine filter no charge but this doesn't explain why they charged ... Read More

Quick and Easy. I noticed that I was slightly overdue for an oil change and reached out to see if I could get in that afternoon. I was told to come in, they would fit me in. I love that I can grab a cup of coffee or a soda and either relax in their very nice lounge or hop on my computer in their work area. I was able to get some work done while waiting and enjoyed a cup of coffee while I was there. Great lounge, everything is always spotless and everyone is so friendly.
Professional and good service, very easy to work with. We were able to borrow a loaner car which helped us out very much.

xx cloud subaru has always been very good to me even though i bought my 2014 forester at walser because it was a hard to find manual transmission. they help me feel confident that i have many more years and miles left on my forester. the new foresters are beautiful but im still too attached to manual transmissions and mimimal electronics to let go of my 2014. the service staff have always been great to work with and answer my questions right away.

At 60,000 miles my outback was leaking oil. Or so I think, kind of an oily mess on back side of engine. Kind of disappointed cause it’s fairly new and only has 60,000 miles. Service employee was polite and they tried to find the leak. They cleaned off the engine and I’ll put some more miles on it and bring it in and then maybe they can pinpoint the source. They did what they could so thanks.
We had codes that our local mechanic couldn't fix. We dropped off the car and the way through town in the morning and they had it figured out and fixed by the afternoon. Great communication and happy with the interaction.

1 Complaint: I never found out what was left on my extended warranty on my trade-in. My mother -in - law, Grace Anderson, purchased what was called an aftermarket extended warranty on a 2019 Outback.
They diagnosed the problem with my car, and had it fixed in a timely manner.
I am very pleased with maintenance services provided at xx Cloud Subaru. They are quick to check in and always willing to listen to any concerns.
Service was ok but I’m very unhappy with the review of my tires. Supposedly the tread is in the red zone and I asked what caused it. The response was that the tires must have been out of alignment. Why is that- your service dept is the only people that have done the rotation & alignment and it only has 32,000 miles. So are the tires of poor quality? or were they misaligned?? Appointment took 2 hrs and the bill was $700! They also did not rotate the tires because I need new ones??!! I have never had anyone else do my ... Read More

The service crew is super friendly!! The lanes to get into the service area are too congested with all those vehicles parked just outside of it. Maybe a new parking lot layout is needed. Building is clean. Wait area is comfortable. Bring back Pepsi products as refreshments. So far, the only nearby service place I trust.
